At 67th Annual Meeting–

Paulk says that the Co-op’s strength
is the support of our members

AFC President Tommy Paulk announced at AFC’s 67th Annual Meeting, “Fiscal year 2003 was a year of record earnings for AFC, thanks in large part to the imagination and courage shown by this and previous boards of directors in making investments that have returned valuable dividends to all of us.

“The Co-op system, which provides rebates from AFC to local Co-ops and, in turn, from local Co-ops to their patrons, is based on membership support. This gives all a powerful incentive to pull together and strengthen our system.

“The commitment to our members by AFC, its management staff and other dedicated employees is exemplified in AFC’s new motto: One Team, One Goal: Excellent Customer Service. I am very pleased

AFC President Tommy Paulk, center, congratulates Brad Blackwood, right, and Mark Solomon for capturing the essence of AFC’s mission in the company’s new motto, which they jointly created

to announce that two AFC employees, Brad Blackwood and Mark Solomon who work in the warehouse in Decatur created this motto. We congratulate Brad and Mark for their ability to capture the essence of AFC’s mission in such a brief statement.”

Paulk thanked AFC’s members and employees for their dedication and support in helping create the most successful year in AFC’s history.
