| Pike County Invitational Draws Increase in Participation |

The Second Annual Pike County Invitational Steer and Hiefer Show was held at Cattlemen Park on US Hwy 231, June 13-14. There were 43 young people from three states showing 88 head of cattle. This was an increase of 20 percent from last year’s show. The show is held every year on Father’s Day weekend. At left, the Grand Champion Steer was shown by Kate Johnson of Troy. At right, the Supreme Heifer was shown by Tye Wynn of Moultrie, Georgia.
