New for the upcoming growing season BioLogic® is offering a new line of food plot additives that are sure to dramatically boost the quality and draw of any existing plot. Available in alfalfa, brassica, chicory and AlfaClover, these four new additives should quickly become the ABCs of plot enhancement.
Alfalfa
The alfalfa additive works very well with clover and other commodity seeds such as wheat, oats, and ryegrass. It is extremely attractive and nutritious and works great when added to exiting plots or to a new planting. It arrives pre-inoculated and ready to plant.
Alfalfa has long been a favorite food source for whitetails but it has been a difficult crop to grow. BioLogic®’s varieties are selected to be user friendly in both northern and southern climates. The alfalfa’s characteristics include high protein levels, strong early and late season attractiveness and a deep root system that allows it to be browse tolerant and drought resistant.
Now with this new additive package, the science of BioLogic® alfalfa can be added to any planting, spring or fall.
Alfalfa Plot Performance Additive is designed to be mixed with other food plot plantings. At the time of planting, simply pour the additive into the hopper and stir it in with your other seeds or over-seed on top of the ground after planting your other ingredients. Add at a rate of 2-4 pounds per acre planted. For best results, the use of a cultipacker will ensure the best seed to soil contact. Do not plant these tiny seeds more than 1/4 inch deep.
Existing fields such as clover can be successfully over-seeded. To freshen up an existing food plot, broadcast Alfalfa Plot Performance Additive at a rate of 2-4 pounds per acre.
In southern regions, BioLogic®’s Alfalfa Plot Performance Additive should be planted during the early fall (prior to a rain) as soon as there is enough soil moisture available for germination. In northern regions, BioLogic®’s Alfalfa Plot Performance Additive should be planted during the spring prior to a rain.
Brassica
The brassica additive helps a plot yield a maximum tonnage of forage, even in the toughest of conditions. It is extremely attractive and nutritious, and it is designed for either over-seeding or initial planting applications.
Brassica Plot Performance Additive is designed to be mixed with other food plot plantings. At the time of planting, simply pour the additive into the hopper and stir with your other seeds or over-seed on top of the ground after planting your other ingredients. Add at a rate of 2-4 pounds per acre planted. For maximum
results, using a cultipacker will ensure the best seed to soil contact. Do not plant these tiny seeds more than 1/4 inch deep.

Brassicas will perform best when given 30-40 days of growth prior to a frost. Chicory
As a hardy perennial that can last from three to five years, chicory makes the perfect additive for clover plots and it is both extremely attractive and nutritious.
BioLogic®’s scientifically researched chicories have quickly become a favorite with serious whitetail hunters and managers. Their characteristics include extremely high protein levels, durability in the toughest conditions, browse tolerance and extreme attraction. In fact, chicory is one of the finest forages for extracting soil nutrients and transferring them into increased antler growth known to exist. These plants develop a taproot that allows them to thrive in dry weather and will deliver nutrition at critical times of the year.
Now with this new additive package, the science of BioLogic® chicories can be added to any planting, spring or fall. The results will be phenomenal.

AlfaClover
BioLogic®’s new AlfaClover blend was scientifically designed to maximize hunter’s success! Intensive research on the unique blend of multiple alfalfa and clover strains ensures that these plants will be productive and extremely attractive to whitetail deer. BioLogic®’s blend of multiple clover varieties guarantee excellent growth in a wide variety of growing conditions and can last multiple seasons. Another selection criterion for these clovers is maximum leaf (forage) production with limited stem (not palatable to deer) production. The carefully selected alfalfa cultivars have extremely deep taproots that make them very drought resistant and able to last deep into the cold weather months.
BioLogic® designed the AlfaClover Blend to be blended with other food plot crops to increase the attractiveness and quality of the forage available. The ease of maintenance of this crop is well
complimented by the huge production of quality forage and it is very shade tolerant. This makes it the perfect blend for those food plot locations that are too small or remote for professional ag equipment.

Do not plant these tiny seeds more than ¼ inch deep.
