left, above) Jasmine Walker, Bryant Cagle and Kayla Flowers were
sponsored by Alabama Farmers Cooperative and were among 33 youths,
pictured below, attending the 2006 Alabama Cooperative Youth Conference,
which is sponsored by the Alabama Council of Cooperatives. The Alabama
4-H Youth Development Center served as the location for the 25th Annual
Conference. The Conference was three days and the youth participating
had the opportunity to learn how their local cooperatives operate and
take part in many recreational and leadership activities. In addition to
Alabama Farmers Cooperative, youths were also sponsored by: Southern
States, Dairy Farmers of America, Federal Land Bank Association, First
South Farm Credit, Co-Bank and Alabama Rural Electric Association. |
