Twenty-six young couples recently attended the 2006 Alabama Co-op Couples Conference, which is hosted by the Alabama Council of Cooperatives. The Hilton Beachfront Garden Inn in Orange Beach was the setting for the 31st annual conference.

During the 3-day event, participants had an opportunity to learn how their local cooperatives can assist them in their everyday life. In addition to the Co-op stores listed, other sponsors included CoBank, Federal Land Bank, First South Farm Credit, Farmers Telecommunications Co-op, Rural Electric Cooperatives and Dairy Farmers of America.
