Alabama 4-H/FFA Hog Show Results

The 2008 Alabama 4-H/FFA Hog Show was held January 19 in Montgomery. The following youth were winners at the show.

Paxton Peacock of Houston County, pictured with show judge Van Smith of Prattville, showed the Grand Champion hog. This hog was also the winner of Class 9.

Paxton Peacock, with Van Smith, also showed the Reserve Champion. This hog was also the winner of Class 8.

Champion Exhibitors were recognized as part of the Alabama 4-H/FFA Market Hog Show. The young person’s placing in showmanship and judging is combined with the placing of two market hogs to get an overall score. Agriknowledge Contest winners are also pictured.
